Character Role: Companion of Robin Hood
Little John is a giant of a man, standing at seven feet tall. He is a master of the quarterstaff and is Robin Hood's chief lieutenant and second-in-command of the Merry Men. Little John is a loyal friend and a fierce warrior, and he is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. One of the most famous stories about Little John is the tale of how he first met Robin Hood. The two men fought on a tree bridge across a river, and Little John was so impressed by Robin Hood's skill with the quarterstaff that he immediately joined his band of Merry Men.
